we believe that…

we believe that house music has an African identity, because house music is born from originality, it’s born from the sound you hear everyday. And you know that Africans are very active people, even when they are protesting they’re dancing, and even when they’re celebrating, they’re dancing. You go to a funeral, they’re dancing. So we’re all born out of a certain element of dance and rhythm and if anybody feels that they can do something (and I believe that there’s no African who can’t dance)and dance is inborn within us. So I can say that house music , dance music, is original to Africans.
